Hoop the Hoop Magic stabilizer paper side up in Hoop. Score with a pin around the hoop and make a large X from corner to corner. Peel paper from hoop, leaving a sticky surface. Place one placemat on top of sticky. Place Heat magic on top.
Load letters from design onto your computer software; transfer to embroidery machine. Using basting stitch on embroidery machine, do the basting stitch to hold all layers together. Embroider design on placemat.
When done, peel heat magic from the top. Using hot craft iron, heat with the iron, dissipating any of the remaining heat magic. Sew a strip of Velcro on middle center inside of each placemat. Tie knots at each end of the gross grain ribbon, then zigzag them onto each placemat. Put wrong sides of placemat together, top stitch through both layers, leaving an opening for the purse.
Affix hot crystals over and around the letters.
